Welcome one and all to my brand-spankin’ new and improved website teelynnmusic.com! First, I’d like to say “Maraming Salamat” (thank you) to Orange Avenue Media Co. and City In Design for building this beautifully crafted site. They really took extra tender love and care to personalize my website to be all I could have ever imagined it to be and MORE! Make sure you check them out; they do fantastic work!
Some people know me as Trish. Others call me Teelynn. Then more often nowadays, people call me Tricia Lynn (which is my pref). Regardless of the name, I’m still the same =) And I’m so very excited that I have this new space to share what I do and why I do it.
You know when people search for that “thing” or that “purpose.” For me, it’s music, and I can’t get enough of it. Over the last two decades (OMG), I’ve played: in family bands, led worship at church, recorded a couple of albums, went on tour, DJ-ed on TV for a few years, and now have established myself as the neighborhood local musician, DJ, and ukulele enthusiast in my current hometown of Coronado, California. My next endeavor is to bring to the island the beloved and famed musical pastime of my Filipino people: KARAOKE!! (I’ll talk more about that later).
But as I just mentioned, I play music locally and I absolutely LOVE IT! Why? I get to work with Marco, Jay, and Colleen. Marco is the warm-hearted-make-you-feel-like-family guy who owns Garage Buona Forchetta. Literally, every day they are busy to the bone with reservations and the restaurant is nearly always at total capacity. I have to park illegally (shhhhh!) to unload my gear every Friday and then park about two blocks away because the area is so busy. It really does show how amazing Marco is, as it reflects in his stellar staff of servers, chefs, and hosts. I love everything so much that I made them individual Christmas baggies with chocolate inside (like a typical 3rd-grade teacher would).
Then there’s Jay and Colleen over on the other side of the island at Vom Fass. I knew they were good people because of how Jay reacted when I asked to post something on his store’s door. I was running around town putting up posters for the Annual Crown Classic Golf Tournament (a local golf tournament that benefits performing arts programs for kids). After telling Jay about Crown Classic, he immediately jumped on the offer of sponsoring the tournament. We exchanged emails, and Vom Fass donated a generous auction item (which totally sold) for the tournament.
Catch me at Garage Buona Forchetta with Marco and his lovable staff on Fridays at 6:30pm-8:30pm. If you want to taste some of the finest oils and spirits around town, come to Vom Fass Coronado Tasting Room Tuesdays at 5:30pm-7:30pm.
